The Mii Contest Channel (Known as the "Check Mii Out Channel" in North America) is a Wii channel originally provided by Nintendo, and now supported by WiiLink. The channel allows users to upload their own Miis to official contests and see other people's creations.
Overview
When opening the channel, users can choose to either browse Miis uploaded with no theme, or look at Miis uploaded to a contest. People can vote for or like Miis, which can either save them to a list or help them win a contest. New contests appear every few weeks.
Contests
Every few weeks, two contests are held simultaneously, and players can submit to either one. Contests generally last two weeks, and a winner is announced both in the channel itself and in the official Discord.
Wii Message Board
The channel can send messages to the Wii Message Board if the user opts in to receive mail. Upon opting in, the channel will send the user photos of Miis, tips and send them contest results. This feature only works once using the WiiLink DNS, unlike the regular channel.
