Sound Chamber
Sound Chamber is a WiiLink Original created by Flatbeek about artist sets. Every episode features a single artist and a set roughly about 20 minutes each, paired with unique visuals. There is no host or narration to keep the episodes cohesive apart from the intro and outro using a single text type.
Premise
Sound Chamber features a new artist every episode and does their own set on the show. The show acts more like a production brand, and depending on the artist, can completely change the style of music, visuals and more. The only consistent feature of the show is the intro and end card every episode.
Production
Sound Chamber was first picked up from the campaign to allow pitches for WiiLink Originals via a public form. A pilot was sent to the WiiLink content team reediting a previous event to fit the new format envisioned for the show, and was subsequently approved.
After the show was approved, flatbeek created a trailer for the show shown on YouTube and Wii Room. It was announced to come out on September 27, 2024 and release bi-weekly. Several weeks before release, the release was delayed by a day and the schedule was shifted to monthly to keep up with production.
