The Illustrated Book of Earth
The Illustrated Book of Earth (known originally as 森羅万象地球図鑑) was a web series produced by East and Wii no Ma Ltd. The series is a educational docuseries about the history of the Earth. The series was especially commissioned for the channel, and was made by a team of roughly 20 people.
Two episodes of the show was subbed by Philemax, which were simultanously released on YouTube and Wii Room.
Premise
Each episode begins with a little boy reading The Illustrated Book of Earth, a book telling the story of the birth and life of the Earth.

English version
Starting at November 6, 2022, localizer Philemax started producing English versions of the show. While the audio was still in Japanese, the graphics were all redone in English, and was fully subtitled. Since him joining the team, episodes produced by him have been put on Wii Room together with the Japanese versions.

Release
The Illustrated Book of Earth was originally released weekly on Wii no Ma from 2009 to 2010. When Wii no Ma was ending service, there was a giveaway held to give out DVDs of certain shows, including The Illustrated Book of Earth, to 1000 users. For many years after, there was no rip of the DVD online or recording, thus the show was considered lost media.
In 2022, a copy of the DVD was discovered online, and was bought by a Wii enthusiast to be ripped online. The series was subsequently released at once on WiiLink's Wii Room.
